Behaviour Support - BSP
At OpenSpace Therapy, we provide evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support designed to improve quality of life, reduce behaviours of concern, and strengthen everyday functioning.
Our practitioners use a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, working closely with participants, families, and support teams to understand the reasons behind behaviours and implement practical, person-centred strategies.
We offer comprehensive assessments, Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, skills-building programs, and ongoing coaching for support workers to ensure safe, consistent implementation.
All supports align with NDIS Commission standards and focus on increasing independence, enhancing emotional regulation, and creating sustainable long-term outcomes.
BSP Recommendation Letters for Plan Reviews -
There may be times where a client requires an urgent report , we are here to help with reports to assist with NDIS reviews such as:
- Plan reviews (including urgent ones)
- Further recommendations with Therapy or AT justification reports ( noise- cancelling headphones, communication device)
- SDA/SIL applications ( 1:1 overnight support assistance , need for consistent staffing and behavioural management )
- Behavioural insight to support allied health or informal supports
- Requests for funding around behaviour therapy or capacity-building supports

Support Coordination - Telehealth based -
At OpenSpace Therapy, our Support Coordination services are all about helping you get the most out of your NDIS plan, without the stress of navigating it alone. Best of all, we offer Telehealth support, meaning everything can be done by phone, so there is no need to travel or sit in an office.
What we do:
- Work with you to understand your goals and what matters most to you
- Connect you with the right providers and services that fit your needs
- Help set up service agreements and manage supports smoothly
- Provide guidance if challenges or issues come up with your plan
